People & Culture Manager

As a cornerstone of our company’s human resources strategy, the People & Culture Manager plays a vital role within our organizational structure. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this position is key to shaping our workplace culture, driving talent management initiatives, and ensuring alignment with our strategic growth objectives. The People & Culture Manager is a proactive leader, committed to fostering a positive, high-performing environment while upholding the company’s values and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the daily workflow of the People & Culture department.
• Oversee all aspects of human resources, including workplace culture, benefits and compensation, succession planning, employee relations, onboarding and terminations, organizational development, health and safety, CNESST management, compliance, and employment laws in Quebec.
• Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training programs, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization’s needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to recommend and communicate policy and practice updates to senior management.
• Provide coaching and support to the executive and management teams on all HR-related matters.
• Collaborate with the Director to understand organizational goals and strategies related to staffing, recruitment, and retention.
• Identify staffing and recruitment needs; develop and implement best practices for hiring and talent management.
• Partner with the leadership team to design, develop, and execute employee retention programs.
• Facilitate company-wide annual performance and salary review processes.
• Perform and oversee the full payroll cycle in compliance with applicable legislation.
• Act as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for all payroll-related matters.
• Ensure payroll compliance and establish controls, monitoring and updating them as required.
• Ensure timely completion of year-end payroll processes in accordance with government deadlines.
• Manage and oversee the OQLF francisation program as well as health and safety initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required by the Director of Operations.

Skills and Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a human resources management role.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, and administration.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a People & Culture team.
• Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs, as well as other human resources programs.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, health and safety, training and development, policy management, and performance management.
• Strong business acumen with excellent strategic, conceptual, and analytical skills.
• Approachable, open, and visible; able to foster positive energy and engagement within the team.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple tasks, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and follow through on business needs.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written.
• Strong computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Le/la Gestionnaire, Personnes et Culture est un·e leader proactif·ive, dédié·e à promouvoir un environnement de travail positif et performant, tout en respectant les valeurs et les politiques de l'entreprise.

Responsabilités clés :
• Gérer et superviser les activités quotidiennes du département des ressources humaines.
• Superviser l’ensemble des volets liés aux ressources humaines, notamment la culture d’entreprise, les avantages sociaux et la rémunération, la planification de la relève, les relations avec les employés, l’accueil et l’intégration, les fins d’emploi, le développement organisationnel, la santé et sécurité au travail, la gestion des dossiers CNESST, ainsi que la conformité aux lois du travail au Québec.
• Planifier, diriger, développer, coordonner et mettre en œuvre les politiques, processus, formations, initiatives et sondages RH afin de répondre aux besoins de l’organisation.
• Se tenir informé·e des tendances, des meilleures pratiques, des changements réglementaires et des innovations technologiques en matière de ressources humaines, de gestion des talents et de droit du travail, et mettre à profit ces connaissances pour conseiller la direction sur les pratiques et politiques à adopter.
• Offrir du coaching et un accompagnement aux équipes de direction et de gestion sur l’ensemble des enjeux RH.
• Collaborer avec la direction afin de bien comprendre les objectifs et la stratégie organisationnelle en matière de dotation, de recrutement et de rétention.
• Identifier les besoins en recrutement, développer et mettre en place les meilleures pratiques de recrutement et de gestion des talents.
• Travailler en partenariat avec l’équipe de direction pour élaborer et déployer des programmes favorisant la rétention des employés.
• Coordonner et faciliter les processus annuels d’évaluation de la performance et de révision salariale.
• Assurer la gestion complète du cycle de paie en conformité avec les lois et règlements en vigueur.
• Agir à titre de personne-ressource et d’expert·e en matière de paie.
• Veiller à la conformité des processus de paie et mettre à jour les pratiques au besoin.
• Assurer la réalisation des processus de fin d’année en respectant les échéanciers gouvernementaux.
• Superviser le programme de francisation de l’OQLF ainsi que la gestion de la santé et sécurité au travail.
• Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes selon les besoins de la direction des opérations.

Compétences/Exigences :
• Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de gestion des ressources humaines.
• Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en rémunération, avantages sociaux, paie et administration.
• Capacité à encadrer et à développer une équipe en ressources humaines et culture organisationnelle.
• Expérience dans l’administration des programmes d’avantages sociaux, de rémunération et d’autres programmes liés aux ressources humaines.
• Excellente connaissance du droit du travail ainsi qu’une expérience concrète en rémunération, planification organisationnelle, développement organisationnel, relations avec les employés, santé et sécurité au travail, formation et développement, politiques internes et gestion de la performance.
• Solide sens des affaires, ainsi que de fortes compétences stratégiques, conceptuelles et analytiques.
• Accessible, ouvert·e et à l’écoute ; capable de générer une énergie positive au sein de l’équipe.
• Autonome, capable d’établir efficacement les priorités, de gérer plusieurs dossiers simultanément, de s’adapter rapidement aux changements de priorités et de répondre aux besoins de l’entreprise.
• Capacité à traiter des enjeux sensibles avec professionnalisme, discrétion et confidentialité.
• Bilinguisme (français et anglais), à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
• Excellente maîtrise des outils informatiques de la suite Microsoft Windows.
