The university is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to join its team as an HR Manager/Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition. The incumbent will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment, ensuring the university attracts and hires top talent for faculty, administrative, and support roles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality faculty and staff.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.
• Maintain a robust talent pipeline for future university requirements.
• Ensure compliance with university policies, UGC norms, and labor laws during hiring.
• Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process to provide a smooth experience for new hires.
• Develop and maintain reports on key recruitment metrics and suggest improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the education or service industry. Strong knowledge of MS office, Google tools, recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and sourcing techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple positions simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with labor laws and university-specific hiring requirements.
