Eagers Automotive is Australia’s largest automotive retailer with operations in every state and territory of Australia and New Zealand. We have an exciting opportunity for an additional, experienced HR Business Partner to join our QLD People & Safety Team.
Our business is made up of multiple brands across QLD; the likes of Toyota, Porsche, and Volkswagen just to name a few. The QLD region starts in South Brisbane and spans out to Toowoomba reaching as far north as Cairns. In this position you’ll be based at our Corporate Office in Newstead, reporting to the QLD People & Safety Manager, sitting with a close-knit team of 6 others including 3 other BP’s. Our team is very collaborative and will be there to support you with understanding the automotive industry and complexities of our business.
In this position you will be partnering with your own portfolio of business units, providing day to day support across the full employee lifecycle. You will support our leaders to promote the Eagers Automotive values and provide best practice human resources solutions to enable the business to build organisational capability, exceptional leadership and high performing teams. You will also play a key role in supporting projects and initiatives and coordinating administrative activities related to the function.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has sound partnering experience in a large organisation, who can manage the HR function end-to-end and is well versed in Australian ER/IR. You will need to be a real people person with the ability to influence stakeholders of various levels of seniority and geographical diversity. With any true partnering opportunity, you will be working closely with your portfolio with regular visits, meetings and conducting training at their sites; so, the ability to work away from the office is a must.
