QAD is looking for a dynamic, operationally-driven HR professional passionate for the position of a People Services Partner about playing a key role in delivering an exceptional employee experience to our QAD employees around the globe. The right individual wants to play a role in fostering employee engagement and a great workplace experience through hands-on support for managers and employees in their region. The role is on contract / assignment basis of 1 year.
In this role, you will be focused on enhancing people manager skills, employee engagement, and the overall employee experience. Through investigation, analysis, advice, and consultation, you will be managing and troubleshooting complex HR, management, and employee situations that go beyond what can be handled through our core HR service desk and self-help platforms. In addition, you will be directly involved in the development and implementation of HR programs/initiatives that are aimed at increasing employee satisfaction and retention in the region tied to the business-driven organizational strategies and the global strategies of the Centers of Expertise.
As the People Services Partner works regionally, you can expect to be, or become, an expert on the local labor laws and compliance concerns of a range of countries in your region. You will put together the support required from local experts (e.g. legal advisors, etc) to address issues that come your way. Working within a strong team of regional People Services Partners, HR Shared Services Representatives, and Coordinators, you will also exchange ideas and knowledge on a regular basis to improve approaches and solve problems. As a team, you will have an opportunity to develop systemic solutions and drive employee engagement strategies tailored to your region and be a voice for your region into Business HR, the COEs, and the HR Leadership Team
