Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) or caregiver to provide full-time care for a male patient with a high-level spinal cord injury (C4 quadriplegic) in our private home.
This role requires someone who is highly competent in personal care, dependable, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality support in a home setting.
Live-in is preferred, but we are open to live-out arrangements for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
Full assistance with bowel and bladder care
Peri-care and hygiene support
Mobility assistance and transfers (bed, wheelchair, etc.)
Medication administration/assistance
Daily care including dressing, grooming, and positioning
Monitoring health status and reporting changes
Maintaining a clean and safe care environment
Providing companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
PSW certification or equivalent caregiving experience required
Experience with spinal cord injury or complex care strongly preferred
Skilled in transfers and use of mobility equipment
Strong sense of responsibility and professionalism
Warm, patient, and respectful approach to care
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
Work Arrangement
Live-in preferred: private accommodations and meals provided
