Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and enthusiastic Personal Trainer to join our team and help clients reach their health and fitness goals through personalized training plans and motivational coaching. The ideal candidate is results-driven, knowledgeable, and passionate about fitness, with a strong commitment to client success and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial fitness consultations and assessments for new clients.
Design and deliver personalized fitness programs tailored to each client’s goals, fitness level, and medical background.
Provide one-on-one and small-group training sessions.
Demonstrate proper exercise form and ensure client safety during workouts.
Track and communicate client progress regularly, adjusting programs as needed.
Offer guidance on basic nutrition, recovery, and overall wellness.
Maintain a professional, positive, and motivating presence in the gym.
Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals.
Ensure gym equipment is used safely and maintained properly.
Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications.
Requirements:
Certified Personal Trainer (e.g., NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hiring).
Proven experience as a personal trainer or fitness coach (minimum 1 year preferred).
Strong knowledge of exercise science, human anatomy, and nutrition basics.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
Professional, punctual, and reliable.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
Passion for fitness and helping others transform their lives.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications (e.g., Corrective Exercise, Nutrition, Strength & Conditioning).
Experience working with special populations (e.g., older adults, post-rehab clients).
Background in sales or client acquisition is a plus.
