Job Description
Terms of Employment: Full-time position; Monday to Friday +am to 5pm (37.5 hrs./week)
Duties/Responsibilities:
Recruitment, screening, and selection of employees
Placement of employees into permanent positions
Hiring and termination of employees in accordance with ICE policies and Procedures and with Labor Standards
Daily operations related to staff and human resource issues
Ensuring all employee documentation is adequate, up to date and in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures
Data entry
To become familiar with, and able to use computer programs designed by ICE for tracking employees, clients and service delivery information
Reception coverage
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years post secondary education in Human resources or related field required
Experience in the Human Resources field an asset
Knowledge of Employment, Labor Standards and other employment regulations an asset
Experience working in the Community Support field an asset
Advanced time management, organizational and effective interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check required before commencing employment
Valid class 5 drivers license and own vehicle an asset
Valid work permit (if applicable)

Pay: $22.51 per hour
