To ensure that all the bill passing activities according to work order/purchase order issue to contractor / vendor / supplier as per delegation and all terms & conditions fulfil by contractor/vendor/supplier and service taking department and make all recoveries from supplier/ vendor if any due according to terms and condition of order.

KRA1 Accountability:Ensure timely payment to contractor, vendor & supplier as per terms of order. Prepare bill passing advice and make all the adjustment incase of coal like that GCV, Moisture, Ash, Sulphur, Shortage of material and in case of mines activities issue of diesel ,lubricants and various types of consumables and in case mining activities make deduction of non availibity of vehicles & equipments and not do the targeted production.
KRA2 Ensure applicability of taxes i.e. income tax, service tax, VAT at time of bill passing. Incase of bill passing of fuel and mining activities ensure that all type of taxes are properly charged by vendors/ suppliers so that we take the benefit of Cenvat & VAT without any difficulty.
KRA3 Debit/Credit balance in Account of vendor/supplier/contractor. Scrutiny and analysis of account of various vendor, supplier and contractor not since long pending relating to fuel and mines relating activities.
KRA4 Management Information Statement & total MIS of Mines. Prepare various types of statement relating to Fuel & Mines relating Activities.
KRA5 Liability Clearing Incase of material and services received create liability after bill passing clear the liability account i.e. fuel, mines expenses, transportation & excise.
KRA6 Vendor/Supplier Clearing Incase of fuel advance payment made to suppliers after receiving of material and bill passed adjust the advance against bill pass and nullify the supplier account.
