DOLPHINS HIGH SCHOOL is looking for an experienced and passionate PGT CHEMISTERY Teacher to join our CBSE School. The teacher will design and implement engaging lessons, assess student progress, and foster a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Planning and Instruction:
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the curriculum guidelines and standards.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
Integrate laboratory experiments and hands-on activities to reinforce theoretical concepts.
Update and maintain course materials to stay current with scientific advancements.
Classroom Management:
Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Design, administer, and grade assessments to evaluate student progress.
Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance.
Identify students' strengths and weaknesses and implement intervention strategies as needed.
Professional Development:
Participate in professional development workshops and educational conferences to stay updated with teaching strategies and developments in the field of chemistry.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional environment.
Student Support:
Provide academic support and counseling to students as needed.
Encourage and support students in science-related extracurricular activities and competitions.
Communication:
Maintain open lines of communication with parents, students, and colleagues.
Prepare and distribute reports and updates as required by the school administration.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain inventory and requisition of laboratory supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or a related field; Master of Science. and Bed preferred.
Certification: Valid teaching certification in for chemistry or science.
Experience: Previous teaching experience in chemistry or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of chemistry and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using educational technology and laboratory equipment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to conduct laboratory experiments which may require lifting and handling of equipment.
