The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant teaching experience in English at the secondary level. The school provides accommodation facilities for its staff members. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of INR 40,000 - 45,000 per month.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive English language and literature lessons to secondary school students following the CBSE curriculum.
Foster a love for language, literature, and critical thinking skills among students.
Develop and enhance students language proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Teach a range of literary genres, including poetry, drama, prose, and non-fiction, promoting critical analysis and interpretation.
Incorporate various teaching methodologies, interactive activities, and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Guide students in improving their grammar, vocabulary, and language usage through targeted exercises and assignments.
Develop students writing skills by providing constructive feedback and guiding them in producing well-structured essays, reports, and creative pieces.
Assess student progress through various evaluation methods, including tests, projects, presentations, and assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Encourage and facilitate classroom discussions and debates, promoting effective communication and critical thinking.
Keep abreast of new developments and trends in English language and literature education, incorporating them into teaching practices.
Requirements:
Masters degree in English or a related field.
Bachelors degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a teaching certification is preferred.
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant teaching experience in English at the secondary level, preferably in a CBSE school.
Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum for English language and literature.
Excellent command of the English language, including advanced grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis skills.
