Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher with an experience in teaching CBSE/IGCSE curriculum to join our school. In this role, you will inspire and educate students residing at our school, fostering a love for Physics and a deep understanding of scientific concepts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement an innovative and challenging curriculum that meets the needs of students at various academic levels, ensuring alignment with educational standards and learning objectives.
· Deliver dynamic and interactive Physics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, fostering student engagement, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
· Oversee laboratory activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper handling of apparatus and devices. Plan and conduct hands-on experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts and promote scientific inquiry.
· Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student understanding and progress accurately. Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate continuous improvement.
· Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior, and communicate effectively with parents/guardians and relevant stakeholders regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.
· Contribute to the residential school community by participating in dormitory life activities and after school prep classes (as assigned).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Physics, Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school, preferably in a residential school environment.
· Teaching certification required (e.g., B.Ed or equivalent).
· Strong content knowledge and expertise in Physics concepts, theories, and principles whilst adapting effective teaching methodologies.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
· Patience, empathy, and a commitment to the well-being of students in a residential school environment.
