Job Title: Pharmacist

Reports to: Pharmacy Manager/Director of Pharmacy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications, providing expert advice on the safe use of prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prescription Management:
• Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure correct dosages.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Consult with healthcare professionals to clarify information on prescriptions.
• Patient Care:
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Provide health and wellness advice, including lifestyle recommendations.
• Manage chronic disease states and provide medication therapy management.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Adhere to all legal, professional, and ethical standards in pharmaceutical care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all pharmacy activities.
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee the procurement and storage of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Monitor drug inventories and manage expiration dates.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage orders efficiently.
• Clinical Services:
• Participate in clinical programs, including immunizations, health screenings, and medication reviews.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Quality Assurance:
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management.
• Stay updated on new pharmaceutical practices, products, and developments.
Qualifications:
• BPharma degree + Hospital Pharmacy Experience from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license in the state of [State].
• Proven experience as a pharmacist (preferably in a clinical or retail setting).
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
