Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detailed oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services to our patients. Some of the responsibilities are:
Greet customers, book appointments, and answer basic questions
Answer phones, organize faxes and operate cash register
Poficient in using Kroll software as well as the Assyst POS system
Count pills, labels bottles and compound medications as directed
Take and track inventory, restock when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Place orders for additional drugs as directed by the pharmacist
Clean and sanitize the workspace area, both behind the counter and outside
Requirements
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is preferred.
A diploma/certification in pharmacy assistant is an asset
Computer literate and proficient in using software - Kroll
Excellent customer service skills
Experience using Assyst POS systems
Available to work flexible hrs on weekdays and weekends
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.26-$23.33 per hour
