The Pharmacy Dispenser will support the delivery of a safe, accurate, and efficient dispensary service within the Fairview operated pharmacy at Bowmere Hospital. The service provides medicines exclusively for Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust inpatient units and outpatient clinics. Working as part of a busy hospital based dispensary team, the postholder will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist, ensuring all medicines are prepared in accordance with legal, clinical and Fairview standards. .
The Pharmacy Dispenser will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and wider clinical teams to ensure timely supply of medicines to mental health wards and services. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary setting are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital environment within a Mental Health Trust while being fully employed and supported by Fairview Health.
