Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service.
Assist customers in locating products and provide information on their use.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Sales and Transactions:
Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately.
Process sales, returns, and exchanges.
Promote pharmacy products and services to customers.
Inventory Management:
Stock shelves and organize products in a neat and orderly manner.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or discrepancies.
Assist with inventory counts and ordering of products.
Support to Pharmacy Team:
Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
Help prepare and package prescriptions for customer pick-up.
Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications:
Education: 12th pass or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in operating cash registers and basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including typing and stocking shelves.
Work Environment:
This position is typically performed in a retail pharmacy environment.
Work hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
