The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. Our schools are located throughout the Greater Vancouver Area, near the best sites and attractions that Vancouver and British Columbia has to offer. Our footprint extends over 250 kilometers from Powell River in the west to Chilliwack in the east.

Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary is located in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Kwikwetlem First Nation which lies within the shared territories of the Tsleil-Waututh, Katzie, Musqueam, Squamish and Sto:lo Nations. We are a vibrant school community centred in Christ, and our primary commitment is to educate students in a Catholic environment, to challenge them to excel in all virtuous aspects of life, and to encourage them to use their gifts in the service of the community. JOB DESCRIPTION
Archbishop Carney Regional Secondary School is seeking a qualified Physical Health Education and Social Studies teacher to join our dedicated and diverse staff. The successful candidate will be Catholic, possess a valid BC teaching certificate and will be skilled at working with students of all abilities. The ability to teach math and coach either or both of volleyball or basketball would be seen as an asset. Applicants can submit their information through the Make a Future website.
