Job Description
Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a Physical Education Teacher for Highland Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. Benefits include: 2 Personal and 12 Sick days; $2,150 Tuition Reimbursement; Life, Medical and Dental Insurance; annual $550 457 Contribution; and $375 Workshop/Conference Allotment. The salary is based on the placement on the Salary Schedule.
Qualifications:
• Appropriate State of Illinois License Endorsements in content area and Middle School, as needed
• Student teaching and/or current experience in this content area
Purpose: To develop in each student an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise; to motivate each student to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits and good social and emotional adjustment; to discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement; to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each student’s ability.
