For purposes of this standard, graduate training programs include only those internship, residency, and fellowship programs that are approved by accrediting bodies recognized within the United States or Canada
A fellowship program involves advanced training (beyond residency training) in a given medical specialty in either a clinical or research setting in a hospital or an institution accredited in the United States for such training

This Physician, Open Continuous Announcement, allows acceptance of applications for Family Practice Physicians throughout the year; eligible applicants are referred for consideration when vacancies occur. The incumbent will be a member of a health care team at one of the hospitals or health care centers located within the Oklahoma City Area IHS. This position has no promotion potential and will be filled at either the GS-13 or GS-14 grade level with no promotion potential for either grade.
