Interdisciplinary Teamwork
The National Capital Private Hospital is seeking enthusiastic and innovative Physiotherapists to join our interdisciplinary Allied Health team. As a Physiotherapist, you will be involved in providing physiotherapy services to inpatient rehab services, acute surgical wards, CCU and ICU. You will assist with leave cover for full-time staff, when workload dictates and for weekend/out of hours services. You will also work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people.
Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive Physiotherapy services to inpatients
- Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence-based practice
- Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people
- Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services
Requirements
- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Excellent clinical practice skills to manage a high acuity caseload
- Previous hospital or rehab experience is preferred
- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
