Permanent Part Time - 0.5 FTE - 40 hours per fortnight

About the Role
Right now, we’re inviting an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly team delivering services across the South Canterbury District, Child Development Services. These services are non-medical multidisciplinary allied health and community based, aiming to promote and facilitate each child’s development pathway so they can reach their full potential.
Day to day the physiotherapist in this role will focus on building rapport and trust to enable assessment and subsequent interventions where milestones are achieved together. Supporting children of all ages this role will work with young patients and their whanau to achieve quality treatment and rehabilitation that is goal-based.
About You
Successful Candidates will have the following:
NZ registration as a Physiotherapist and current APC
Broad understanding of practice areas and clinical experience in Child Disability or Child Mental Health will be an advantage
Good initiative and self-management skills
Committed to the ideas of research and evidence based best practice
A current Driver’s License
