Motion Theory — Physiotherapist (Founding Clinician)
West Broadway, Vancouver | Full-Time | Split-Based
The Opportunity
Motion Theory is a premium multidisciplinary clinic launching at 1395 West Broadway — one of Vancouver's highest-traffic corridors. We're building a performance-driven, patient-centered practice from the ground up, and we're looking for one physiotherapist to join as a founding clinician.
This is not a room rental. It's a career-defining early hire with real upside.
What You're Walking Into
Fully equipped 600 sq ft rehab gym (rack, cardio, neuro tools)
Private treatment rooms — fully set up, ready to use
Administrative and billing support via JaneApp
Strong referral base: Post Concussion, ICBC, private, active population, post-surgical
Integrated model with RMT, OT, KIN and Chiro — internal referrals from day one
Concussion and vestibular training available through our clinical partnership
Clinic Focus
Orthopaedic and sports rehabilitation (active, exercise-based)
ICBC and post-surgical programs (structured, higher visit frequency)
Concussion and vestibular rehabilitation
Performance-driven outcomes — not passive care
Compensation
Split-based model. At a full caseload, clinicians in this setup typically net $80–120/hr. Schedule ramp support is available in the early weeks. Specifics discussed at interview.
What We're Looking For
Registered Physiotherapist in BC (in good standing)
Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy foundation
Entrepreneurial — you want to build something, not just fill a schedule
Comfortable working independently within a collaborative team
Bonus (not required): ICBC experience, interest in sports/neuro/vestibular, active rehab programming
