Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, inclusion, and collaboration among students.
Utilise various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behaviour.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and improve overall educational practices.
Requirements
Full DBS.
Music Teaching Experience
Pay is based on ticks complete on students - as opposted to hourly rate - so key to make sure you keep up to date on your register.
Lessons will run 3 school terms a year - 5 lessons in each half of term (10 per term)
You will recieve a timetable from Piano Fun Club, and we will indicate lesson length and if they are paired or individual.
Experience teaching younger children.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education.
Experience in classroom management and creating an inclusive learning environment is desirable.
Proficiency in using technology as a teaching tool is advantageous.
