The Opportunity
Revex Piling are seeking a Piling ‘Groundsman’ or Skilled Labourer to join our fun-loving crew. But we are also looking for operators. No piling experience necessary – we can train you and offer you opportunities to move up the ladder and secure your future!
Want to become an operator? We have systems in place to train and grow our people.
Think you could be a foreman? We can take you from a follower to someone leading a team, and give you the opportunity to make your mark.
While fairly new to the NZ market, our team have unmatched screw piling experience in NZ and we’re delivering world class solutions. We’re experienced, we’re growing quickly, and we’re a close-knit team with a family feel.
The Groundsman Role
We’re on the hunt for a motivated Groundsman or Labourer who is reliable, keen to learn and grow with the role, and can get along with an awesome bunch of people.
One of the most important roles in piling operations, the Groundsman handles, lifts and guides piles onto the correct positions on site and works with the Foreman to ensure that the piling rig always has a pile ready to go.
With a yard in Penrose, jobs will be based in various locations around Auckland, with occasional short-term travel around NZ.
The Operator Role
If you can already operate an excavator then we could give you the opportunity to become a 2nd rig operator (6T-20T excavators), and then in time step you up to become a 1st rig operator (20T-4+T) and jumping into our big flagship excavator - a CAT34+!!!
To Be Successful you will need to:
Be keen, self-motivated, have a positive attitude and great communication skills
Be reliable, punctual, and honest, and enjoy working outdoors, rain or shine
Be available to travel out of Auckland from time to time for up to a week at a time
Have NZ citizenship, residency or a valid NZ work visa, and a full NZ Drivers License
Pass a pre-employment medical assessment and random drug testing.
Construction experience or experience working on or around excavators /machinery would be an advantage, but it not essential. More important is a great attitude and willingness to learn.
