Summary
The UI / UX Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, prototyping and delivering compelling and intuitive experiences for ourcustomer facing web and mobile applications, including ecommerce websites and customer-facing administrative platforms. Working closely with the product teams and digital analysts, the individual will translate ideas into customer experiences, flows, wireframes and mockupsusing modern UX/UI best practices and emerging AI-informed design approaches. He or she will also help develop strategies around conducting usability tests and integrating findings into the final output.

Essential Functions
• Translate product strategy and user requirements into full-fledged user experiences, creating pixel perfect mockups, user flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes to convey complex interactions.
• Understand and interpret brand, user and business needs, in order to develop innovative, creative and results-oriented digital solutionsacross ecommerce and customer-facing admin experiences
• Conduct competitive research and analytic rigor in designing our user experiences
• Optimize existing user interface designs and test new ideas before implementing
• Working with engineers to construct dynamic, interactive designs that are technically feasible
• Create journey maps, user profiles, user cases/scenarios, and personas that are aligned with project and business goals
• Communicate and ardently defend good user experience design to stakeholders

Additional Responsibilities
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (our exclusive design tool), including component libraries, design systems, and interactive prototyping
• Rapid wireframing and UI prototyping to produce interactive experiences for usability testing
• Able to provide a portfolio of design projects based on web / mobile applications
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and modern front-end constraints
Preferred experience in hospitality, ecommerce, equipment rental, or similar transactional industries

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree preferred Psychology, Visual Design, Communications, Computer Science or related field
• H.S. diploma/GED required Vocational training in related field and/or experience with industry tools
• Five (5) years or more Designing customer-facing products on web and mobile required
• Five (5) years or more Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers required
• Invision and Sketch tools advanced required
• Adobe Photoshop advanced required
• Other UX / UI Training

• Select materials, finishes, and design elements that align with the project's design concept.
• Review, redline if needed, and approve all design documentation, including all work from support staff (3D renderings, millwork specifications, drafting details, shop drawings) and vendors.
• Ensure the design is being executed as planned by visiting the project’s construction sites, responding to RFIs, meeting with the PM, etc.
• Conduct team meetings to discuss project progress and address any construction-related issues.
• Monitor project milestones and deadlines, ensuring all teams, including construction, are aligned.
• Ensuring cohesive collaboration between the design team and the construction department.

This person will need a strong interest/passion for graphic design, imagery, and vision setting. This person will also, however, be tied directly to the Process Mechanical discipline group; the will occasionally be asked to assist with drafting/design responsibilities related directly to municipal water projects nationwide. This can include large, industrial grade piping systems for water treatment, pipe racks, and heavy BIM coordination. A deep understanding of process piping design, along with a strong interest in Visualization are crucial for this position. The primary software from a design perspective will be Revit, but Visualization projects may be created in Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, InfoWorks, and others. This role will be a 6-mont contract to hire, with the primary goal being permanent conversion.

This role is mid-level, and hourly pay rate will range from $38-$46/hr. This role has the potential for remote capabilities. Ability to work occasional/frequent overtime will be required.

This role can sit hybrid in multiple office locations including Denver CO, Jacksonville FL,
