Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech in Civil Engineering and 5 years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, and resource management. The Planning Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely execution of real estate projects, working closely with project teams to meet project milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones using tools.
• Resource Management: Track and allocate resources effectively (labor, materials, equipment) to avoid delays and optimize productivity.
• Cost Management: Assist in preparing cash flow and monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor construction progress, update schedules regularly, and report on project status, highlighting delays, risks, and corrective actions.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks related to schedules, costs, and resources, and provide solutions to mitigate issues.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution along with MOM , scheduling of meetings etc complete.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation, including project schedules, reports, change orders, and compliance records. Provide timely updates to senior management. Timely MIS as per schedule.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure all planning activities are aligned with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control guidelines.
Qualifications:
Educational Qualification:
• B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Post-graduation or certification in Construction Management (preferably from NICMAR or similar).
Experience:
• 5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or construction management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
• Proven track record in managing mega building projects.
