Job Description
A leading manufacturing company in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking an experienced Planning & Procurement Specialist to join their team. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity with a great work culture, long-tenured employees, competitive compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will have purchasing experience in SAP. This position is onsite, Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred or experience in lieu
• 1-4 years' experience in procurement with at least 1 year in SAP
Responsibilities:
• Execute local finished‑goods replenishment using MRP tools and place orders with suppliers/production as needed.
• Maintain and optimize local MRP settings and material master data to ensure accurate planning.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify excess/obsolete stock, and take corrective actions.
• Provide sales channels with lead times and minimum order quantity information.
• Support process improvements and local supply‑chain projects to enhance replenishment efficiency.
