Job Description
Reporting to the Business Head - Corporate Office, you will:
• Lead the plant operations for Cold Finished Seamless Tubes manufacturing, overseeing production, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Manage core processes including stainless steel extrusion, Cold Pilger Mills, Cold Drawing Benches, Induction Bright Annealing, and Online Eddy Current Testing.
• Support Purchase & Planning by advising on raw material specifications for seamless operations.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
• Foster a culture of interdepartmental collaboration and team capability building across the plant.
The Successful Applicant
• Holds a B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Has 15-20 years of experience in plant leadership roles within stainless steel pipe & tube manufacturing, with a focus on Cold Finished Seamless Tubes and extrusion processes.
• Brings hands-on expertise in working with Austenitic, Ferritic, Duplex, and Titanium materials.
• Deep understanding of Pilgering, Drawing, Bright Annealing, and Eddy Current Testing as key manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build teams, align cross-functional departments, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
