Job Description
Production Management:
• Oversee all production-related tasks, including planning, control, and troubleshooting.
• Set and achieve production targets within specified time and cost parameters.
• Optimize the utilization of manpower and machinery to meet pre-set production targets.
Procurement & Inventory Management
• Advance planning for procurement functions, including cost estimation, billing schedules, contract negotiations, and finalization for the purchase of raw materials and tools.
• Manage purchase activities and plan for monthly and yearly inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors to meet material requirements.
• Develop new partnerships with vendors to increase market share.
• Maintain a robust vendor base to ensure timely procurement and dispatch of orders.
Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate and follow up with various internal and external departments.
• Conduct meetings with different departments for business prospects.
• Liaise with the Maintenance & Utility department and external entities to ensure smooth operations.
Stock & Inventory Control
• Monitor stock levels of consumables, spares, and inventory at warehouses and stores.
• Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of stocks.
• Maintain storage areas and arrange the necessary infrastructure to ensure smooth operational flow.
Resource Management
• Determine requirements based on manpower rationalization, machinery needs, and financial constraints.
