Role Overview:
We’re seeking a hands-on and experienced Plant HR Manager to lead the HR function at our Harohalli manufacturing facility. This role requires end-to-end ownership of plant-level HR operations, compliance, employee engagement, recruitment, and culture-building initiatives tailored to a fast-paced, tech-enabled manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• HR Operations:
o Maintain and monitor attendance, leave management, shift schedules, and workforce planning.
o Manage HRMS (Zoho People), payroll inputs, overtime, and attendance incentives.
o Ensure accurate documentation and records of all employees, contractors, and interns.
• Compliance & Statutory:
o Ensure end-to-end statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, labor laws, factories act).
o Liaise with government bodies and support audits (HR, labor, EHS).
• Employee Lifecycle Management:
o Handle onboarding, orientation, confirmation, performance appraisals, and exit processes.
o Ensure regular feedback loops and timely grievance redressal.
• Recruitment & Talent Management:
o Coordinate with HO for manpower planning and hiring for production, QA/QC, engineering, and other plant functions.
o Partner with local institutions for technician and operator hiring drives.
• Employee Engagement & Culture:
o Foster a positive and productive work environment.
o Plan welfare activities, team events, and wellness initiatives.
o Ensure adherence to company values and discipline policy on the shop floor.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 5–8 years of plant HR experience, preferably in pharma, FMCG, food, or cosmetics manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, ESI/PF, and factory regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of HRMS tools (Zoho or equivalent) and MS Excel.
• Fluency in Kannada and English (preferred).
• Bachelor's or Master's in HRM, Industrial Relations, or related field.
