Plumbing maintenance in schools is essential to ensure the safety and functionality of water systems, prevent disruptions to daily operations, and comply with health and safety regulations.

• Time : +:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Location : Mangadu, Chennai

• Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect restrooms, kitchens, and drinking fountains monthly.
- Check pipes, valves, and fixtures for leaks or corrosion.
- Inspect boilers, water heaters, and outdoor plumbing systems.
- repair or replace damaged faucets, taps, toilets, and urinals.
- Ensure flushing mechanisms function properly.
- Maintain sink and shower drains to prevent clogs.
- Clean drains regularly to avoid blockages.
- Check for pipe corrosion or damage and replace as needed.
- Insulate pipes to prevent freezing during cold weather.
- Test water pressure for consistency across the school.
- Maintain and replace water filters in fountains and kitchens.
- Conduct periodic water quality tests to ensure safety.
- Clean cafeteria grease traps regularly.
- Test and maintain backflow prevention devices.
- Winterize outdoor plumbing systems by draining and insulating.
- Identify and label shut-off valves in all plumbing areas.
- Train staff on emergency plumbing protocols.
- Keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Use checklists to ensure all areas are maintained systematically.
- Educate students and staff on proper use of plumbing systems.
- Encourage reporting of leaks, clogs, or other issues promptly.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
