About the Role:
The Cargo Risk team has the opportunity and responsibility to make decisions in the best interest of TQL when it comes to evaluating high risk scenarios/commodities. As a member you will be responsible for supporting the sales floor by providing issue resolution, risk management, and excellent customer service. What you’ll be doing:
Analyze current risks and identifying potential risks that impact freight transport
Explaining risk to relevant audiences. (Educating sales teams about the most significant risks to their customer’s freight; ensuring they understand the risks; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability)
Purchase insurance
Conduct policy and compliance audits
Create policy plans to limit risks based on audit findings.
Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
What you need:
Ability to work 10am-7pm
At least 2 years of related professional experience
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Planning and organizational skills
Ability to understand broader business issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
