About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL Administrator to join our team. As an SME (Subject Matter Expert), you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with and manage a team of professionals to perform various tasks.
• Making key decisions for the team and contributing to strategic discussions across multiple departments.
• Provide solutions to problems affecting immediate teams and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure the smooth functioning of critical business systems.
• Implement best practices for system maintenance and conduct regular audits for performance optimization.

Professional and Technical Skills:
• Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL Administration.
• Desirable Skills:
• Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA) or Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
• Fundamental Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of database management principles.
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of databases.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
