Job Description
• 3-4 years of Strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL database administration including database installation and configuration.
• Must have experience with PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL functions to support database transactions.
• Responsible for creation / management of database schema, administers tables, data models, troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Monitoring and management of indexes, user accounts and domains.
• Assess database performance.
• Responsible for apply security mechanism on database and user.
• Experience in complex queries writing, optimization, creating procedure and functions.
• Database patch management and updation
• Set database parameters or specifications inline to Performance tuning and Health Checkup of PostgreSQL databases.
• Sound knowledge in Database Backup, Restore, point in time recovery and Disaster Recovery procedures
• Prior knowledge of database migration and data warehousing
• Experience in Multi-Master and Master and slave replication setup.
• Experience in setup hot standby.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required
