Your Role and Responsibilities Cloud/Admnistration,DB administration in EDB PostgreSQL Migration from cloud isp etc. Proficient with Backup and Recovery procedures using physical backups with utilities like Pg_dump, pg_dumpall, pg_basebackup and pg_restore methods Required Technical and Professional Expertise Installation, Administration and Configuration of PostgreSQL database on UNIX Installation and Configuration of PostgreSQL database on Windows Server Knowledge on PostgreSQL Database Architecture Managing Users, groups, Roles and Privileges Backup and Restoration of databases using export/ import utility, Full, Incremental and Differential Backup methodology, Table level backup and restoration Troubleshooting any issues Managing database through PG admin tool Establish streaming replication & it's configuration Pgbouncer/pgpool configuration Pgbadger configuration Npgsql awareness.. Dot Net frontend tuning with Postgresql Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Installing and configuring PostgreSQL server instances on local and remote servers Implementing Streaming replication, cascading replication for production database Configuring memory parameters in PG server based on the business requirement Installations, Patching and Upgrade of the PostgreSQL servers Required Education Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education Master's Degree
