This name, given to us by Sir Matua Hekenukumai Busby, along with the navigational guidance of Kupe, serves as a symbolic beacon for our students. It inspires our ākonga to embrace their Māori identity, pursue education, and develop leadership qualities, enabling them to confidently navigate their futures and assert themselves on the marae and in the world.

We are excited to announce that two permanent Pou Arataki positions will be open for 2026, one located at our Kura Teina and the other at our Kura Tuakana.
