Job Description
Mandatory: · 5+ years of experience in tools and systems on MS SQL Server BI Stack, including SSRS and TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX · Excellent T-SQL coding experience with an understanding how to write highly performing, scalable TSQL code (Stored Procedures, Functions with complex joins) · Strong ability to analyze user requirements, Business Requirement Specifications. · Design and model datasets with Power BI Desktop based on measure and dimensions requested by customer and dashboard needs. · Developed complex reports and advance dashboards based on the report specs and validate report data. · Experience in developing interactive and rich Power BI visualization, advance analysis actions, calculations, parameters, background images, maps, trend lines, groups, hierarchies, detail level summary report sets, and KPI dashboards. · Worked on Power BI Paginated Reports by using Report Builder. · Create Workspace in Power BI Service and giving access to end users. · Must have utilized Power BI components like Power Pivot, Power Query, Power Q&A, Power View · Experience with managing subscriptions and refresh extracts in Power BI. · To perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI. · Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation. Also, one must be experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI. Preferred · 2+ years of relevant experience in report development either in SAP BO / Tableau · Experience in creating OLAP cubes, MDX queries using SSAS. · Experience with Azure data platform including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake · Some experience with Power BI Service administration. · Knowledge in executing the project in Azure DevOps (Agile Scrum) · Power BI certification Behavioral Skills: · Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions with team members, end clients and senior business leaders. · Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to work and communicate effectively across diverse technical and business teams.
