Job Description
Covenant Christian School is keen to support University Students in their Education degrees by providing observational and teaching ‘Prac placements’ (also known as ‘student internships’). Our aim for Prac teachers is to provide essential experience in how to prepare units of work, how to deliver teaching, classroom management and how to challenge students to think Christianly about what they are learning.
The school will identify and match a mentor teacher, subject and/or year specific to the placement request, from either our Junior or Secondary Schools, as appropriate. All Prac placements are subject to staff capacity, ensuring that mentor teachers are able to provide meaningful guidance, support and feedback throughout the duration of the placement.
