Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to join our clients successful Accounting Firm. You will play a vital role in dealing with very high profile clients, supporting their financial operations. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records and processes.
Duties
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) as needed.
• Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
• Preparation of year end, personal and corporation tax computations and returns.
• Liaising with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries.
• Identifying new processes and ways to increase efficiency.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practices.
• Use accounting software efficiently (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal accounting processes.
Qualifications
· ACCA/ACA qualified or Qualified by Experience.
· UK practice Experience .
· A proven track record of managing a client portfolio, including monitoring commercial aspects.
· Strong working knowledge of software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
