Position Details:
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Responsibilities:
• Plan environments to provoke children's thinking.
• Maintain an attractive and engaging classroom.
• Document children's progress based on their curiosities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
• Respect for children with a joyful and present attitude every day.
• Ability to create a dynamic environment where play and learning thrive.
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
Requirements:
• Cleared Portable DCYF background check before start date
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Bloodborne pathogen training.
• Food Handler’s Card.
• Proof of negative TB test.
Preferences:
• Two years of experience teaching preschool.
• Early childhood education degree (BA or AA preferred).
• 30 hours of STARS training completed.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
