We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-Primary Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with parents to ensure the holistic growth of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development & Implementation:
Design and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as storytelling, educational play, music, and arts to engage children effectively.
Foster creativity and critical thinking through interactive activities and hands-on learning experiences.
Classroom Management:
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, cooperation, and self-discipline.
Establish and enforce rules of behavior, ensuring a safe and orderly setting.
Supervise children during various activities, including playtime, meals, and rest periods.
Child Development Monitoring:
Observe and assess each child's developmental progress, identifying areas of strength and areas needing improvement.
Provide individualized support to children with diverse learning needs.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and share regular updates with parents.
Parent and Team Collaboration:
Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development, achievements, and areas for growth.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to build strong relationships with families.
Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Health, Safety & Hygiene:
Ensure the classroom and play areas are clean, organized, and safe.
Promote good hygiene practices and assist children in developing self-care routines.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including CPR and First Aid protocols.
Professional Development:
Engage in continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in early childhood education.
Reflect on teaching practices and seek feedback for professional growth
