Digantar, established in 1+78 as an alternative school in Jaipur, provides completely free education to 186 children across its two schools, serving the local community. We are embarking on a transformative journey to ensure the financial self-sustainability of one of the two Digantar Vidyalayas and to expand our unique self-paced, independent learning approach.
As part of Vision 2030, we plan to introduce a model in one of our Vidyalayas where 50% of students will continue to receive free education, while the other 50% will pay fees. Additionally, we are starting a pre-primary section at our Vidyalaya and will begin enrolling children aged 3 to 8 years from April 2026 onwards.

Job Description
At this transformative stage, Digantar Vidyalaya is looking for two Pre-Primary Teachers with the following responsibilities:
1. Teach children aged 3 to 8 years in the foundational stage.
2. Assist in developing a pre-primary curriculum aligned with Digantar Pedagogy and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2026.
3. Assist in setting up pre-primary classrooms.
Essential Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Human Development & Family Studies from a recognized university.
Or
Bachelor in Science with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECCE), or Diploma in Montessori Teacher Training, or Certificate in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) or B.Ed./B.El.Ed. in Early Childhood Education or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching children within the specified age group.
Desirable Qualifications
1. Passion for working with children aged 3 to 8 years.
2. Creativity, enthusiasm, and an aesthetic approach suitable for engaging young learners.
3. High proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
Remuneration
1. Salary range: Rs. 28,000 - Rs. 30,000 (negotiable based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience).
2. Probation period: Four months.
3. Salary may be increased after four months based on:
a) Successful completion of the probation period.
b) Commendable performance.
4. Job location: Jagatpura, Jaipur.
