Responsibilities
As a pre-primary teacher, your responsibilities include:
•Design and implement a syllabus for the academic year that includes a variety of learning and fun activities to keep the children engaged.
•Teach the basics required for kindergarten, including shapes, numbers, colors, crafts, and social skills.
•Use different teaching methods, such as storytelling, dramatics, dancing, and other activities to help children learn in different ways.
•Provide individual attention to each child, assess their learning and social skills, and help those who are struggling to keep up.
•Act as a parent-figure to kids who need extra support, such as helping with naps, snacks, and other basic needs.
•Encourage class interaction and participation through fun activities, group activities, and happy competitions.
•Ensure that the classroom is always clean and safe, instructing aides to help maintain order and prevent accidents.
•Maintain distinct reports on each child's progress to communicate with parents about their child's development.
•Engage parents in friendly activities to improve their relationship with the children and the school.
•Supervise the aides to make sure all children are safe on the campus and provide support as needed.
