Preschool Positions (Part-Time):Teacher Aide
2026–2027 School Year
St. Michael Catholic School in Snohomish, WA is seeking qualified applicants for part-time Preschool positions for the 2026–2027 school year, including a Preschool Teacher Aide. We are looking for caring, energetic educators who love working with young children and desire to support their academic, social-emotional, and spiritual growth in a faith-filled environment. Ideal candidates are warm, dependable, and collaborative, with a heart for early childhood education and strong partnerships with families.
Preschool Teacher Aide (Part-Time)
Responsibilities Include
• Supporting the lead teacher with classroom routines, transitions, and supervision
• Assisting with learning centers, small-group activities, and hands-on lessons
• Supporting students’ social-emotional development and positive behavior
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure consistency and care
• Supporting the Catholic identity and mission of St. Michael Catholic School
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with young children in a school or childcare setting (preferred)
• Patient, attentive, and nurturing approach to working with children
• Ability to follow direction while taking initiative when needed
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $17.50 – $19.00, based on experience, internal equity, and role responsibilities
