The major duties of this job involve connecting quickly with people in a poised, convincing, and enthusiastic way. This job will entail working at an extremely fast pace and will require working cooperatively with and through people in order to complete tasks and will be integral in motivating others. The job requires team or collaborative work within the organization and will be integral in bringing out the best in others. This job will require a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive to get things done correctly, with emphasis on working with and through people in the process. Understanding people well and using that understanding effectively in motivating and persuading others to act will be an important aspect of the job. It is important in this job for goals to be set and reached, and for tasks to be completed in a timely manner. Decisions will often have to be made under pressure and will generally need the ideas and advice of others. Details will need to be handled quickly and accurately but will not be a repetitive part of the job. Many tasks in this job may entail selling or persuading others, and/or may entail training others in some capacity. This job will involve controlling all aspects of tasks, from the initiation, through the process and through to completion.

As a Premier Banker you will:
• Work with others by building and maintaining relationships.
• Operate as an effective communicator, who is able to stimulate and motivate others by being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
• Perform in a role that has detailed work as a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly and efficiently and working within established guidelines.
• Be the main point of contact for a select group of NBH clients.
• Be in active participant in maintaining guidelines, structure and established policies as you work with and for others.

As a Premier Banker you will have the opportunity to meet and provide exceptional client service to a diverse audience. You will ensure the overall success and growth by identifying and acquiring new clients while deepening relationships of existing clients. This will include responsibility for a variety of tasks including; establishing an entrusted banker-client relationship, coordinating assigned client financial needs through a proactive and disciplined approach that reaches across multiple lines of business and service/support teams, protect all client and bank information, and following Client Privacy and Information Policy & Procedures for communication with clients, vendors and associates, study and understand broad local and national economic and business issues that allow fluent advisory discussions with affluent clients to engage and help determine needs, and introducing clients to new products, services and digital solutions, utilizing the latest technology of tablets, smart phones and laptops. Additionally, Premier Bankers are expected to achieve specific sales and service goals on a quarterly and annual basis.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements:To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
• Current Relationship Banker II or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Complete Premier Banker Certification
• Become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by S.A.F.E. Act.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Driving may be required with this position. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license (may not be learner’s, restricted or “to and from work” license) and driving history that meets Bank’s driver standards. This information will be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Previous banking, cash handling or financial service experience
• 1+ Years of demonstrated successful sales experience
• Bilingual language skills
• Passionate and motivated self-starter
• A passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies available at the bank
• Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately
• Ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as cash back and percentages

• Specialized competencies in delivery of deposit, loan and other banking products and services.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately.
• Must be passionate about proactive relationship building of new business from existing clients and referrals. Proven track record of prospecting new relationships, as well as enhancing existing ones, and meeting or exceeding goals.
• Proven sales skills and client management experience.
• Proficient at working with multiple computer and Microsoft Office software applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn various systems.
• Cooperates and works collaboratively toward solutions that generally benefit all involved parties; works cooperatively with others to accomplish company objectives.
• Promotes and generates cooperation among one’s peers to achieve a collective outcome; fosters the development of a common vision and fully participates in creating a unified team that gets results.
• Above average ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrates concern for achieving or surpassing results against an internal or external standard of excellence.
• Makes decisions authoritatively and wisely, after adequately contemplating various available courses of action.

• Sitting for extended periods of time (typically no longer than 8 hours).
