Job Summary:
We are seeking a nurturing and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to join our school in Hebbal, Bangalore. The Pre-Primary Mother Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children, developing age-appropriate lesson plans and teaching materials, and facilitating children's learning and development through play-based activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and teaching materials for young children focusing on play-based learning activities
Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
Plan and supervise daily activities and routines, including free play, circle time, snack time, and nap time
Observe and assess children's progress, and communicate with parents and guardians about their child's development
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the classroom and school
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
Perform other duties as assigned by the school management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
At least 2 years of experience as a Pre-Primary Teacher or a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with young children, parents, and colleagues
Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and practices in early childhood education
Ability to create a safe and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Fluency in English and proficiency in local language(s) is preferred.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required on occasion.
Salary:
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
