About This Role:
This Assistant Preschool Teacher position requires a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering exceptional care and learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) and be able to create engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of children. Additionally, they will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively with parents and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver interactive learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Develop and maintain relationships with parents through regular communication and progress updates
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to essential procedures and guidelines
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and company policies
- Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements: 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED; 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred; CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field preferred
