Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development: Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes holistic development in children aged 3-5 years.
Instruction: Conduct engaging and interactive lessons that include play, storytelling, music, art, and hands-on activities.
Assessment: Observe and assess children’s progress, behavior, and learning styles. Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and communicate findings with parents and administrators.
Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning, social interaction, and respect among students.
Parent Communication: Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, development, and any concerns.
Health and Safety: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students at all times. Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations.
Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest teaching methods, educational trends, and best practices in early childhood education.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and administrators to create a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
Classroom Organization: Set up and maintain a well-organized, inviting, and resource-rich classroom that supports diverse learning experiences.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Certification in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
