Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery, including CNC milling machines and press brake machines, as well as experience in quality control and assembly processes. The Press Operator will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to all quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain press brake machines and CNC equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce components accurately.
Utilize CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design modifications and project planning.
Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in manufactured parts.
Collaborate with team members to assemble products according to specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise.
Follow safety protocols while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company policies regarding safety and efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments is essential.
Proficiency in operating CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, and press brake machines is required.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Fanuc systems is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations are necessary.
Experience with welding techniques is desirable but not mandatory.
Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding logistics within the production process.
