JOB DETAILS
Minimum 5 years' experience in Pricing with a Freight Forwarding Company.
Broad understanding of Freight Forwarding Business.
Ability to analyse RFQ's(Request for Quotation) from customers.
Ability to obtain competitive pricing from shipping carriers and airlines, based on RFQ's from customers
Ability to analyse large volume tenders and develop optimal solutions to ship the cargo
Prepare method statement for action by operations team.
Follow through on execution by transporter, shipping carrier etc.
Good knowledge of World Geography, Major Shipping Ports, Lanes etc.
Excellent knowledge of shipping documentation, Bills of Lading, AirWay Bills, Invoices, survey processes, insurance processes, etc
Excellent communication skills, written and spoken (English, Hindi and Gujarati)
Excellent negotiation skills
