iTeach is now in NAVI MUMBAI! We are now expanding to Navi Mumbai and are looking for teachers to embark on a journey of transforming Navi Mumbai schools from good to great. Overview The quality of school education available to students from low-income communities across India is abysmal. Their chances of getting admitted to a college or building a career are much lower than their high-income peers, condemning them to a life without voice or choice. iTeach was born to declare war on this status quo and create a level playing field for ALL children. We do this in Pune and Navi Mumbai by co-creating contextual school models with Municipal Corporations. We run 12 free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students. In 2026, with a staff of 300 members across 12 schools, we will serve 4500 students and 3000 alumni - giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship. We aim to grow to 30 schools and 10,000 students over the next five years. Take a peek into our world by visiting www.iteachschools.org Key Responsibilities: A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The three different parts of the role are: l - Teaching your subject (60% time) ● Use existing resources and design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans ● Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class (about 30 students in each class) ● Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students ● Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy ● Collaborate with the parents of the students through regular meetings to create a positive learning environment ll - Mentoring students (20% time) ● Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year ● Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel-share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem ● Mentor students to identify a best-fit career after Grade X lll - Leading projects in school (20% time) ● Work with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead multiple projects essential to student learning (based on your talents), such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs, etc. ● Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers Education & Experience: ● Required: B.Ed/D.Ed Degree Location: Panvel Salary: Salary is based on the candidate's education and work experience. Our usual compensation for this role lies between ++1-XXXXXXXXXX. CTC per month.
